USES:
The second conditional expresses a hypothetical

action. Usually expressed as an action contrary to the current state of things. Ex. If I got a raise, I would buy a car.
If you didnt listen music, you would study

better.

Special case:
IF I WERE YOU..
Is one of the most important uses. Is used

for give an advice. Ex.

You look tired. If I were you ,I would get

some rest.

 Using the verb to be the second

conditional uses were for a formal english.

Ex. If I were rich, I would move to a different neighbourdhood.
