‘The Operations Technical Training (OTT) section and Operations Performance Training (GPT) section plays a vital role in training and operational areas for Pilots, Flight Despatchers and other Operational Personnel, Following Ground subjects training is conducted for Pilots / Flight Despatchers: 1) TypeRating forA320 family/8-737 for CPL Holders. 2) Check Pilots raining for A320 family/ A330/8737 Commanders. 3) Special Operations Training for the following aircraft operations for Pilots: a) ETOPS b) CATII/IIAsIIIBOperations. ©) Cold Weather Operations. 4) Monsoon Operations. @) RVSM/RNP/RNAV ) Refresher course for Pilots on A330/ A320 family / B-737 Aircraft 5) For Flight Despatchers. Induction course for Flight Despatchers. Aircraft specific - A320family /A330/8737 6) Refresher courses. for Flight Despatchers. 1. A320 Family Type Rating ‘Teaining (Co-Pilot) Etigibility Requirements Academic: Minimum Educational Qualifications is 102 or Equivalent with Physics and Mathematies Technical: a} Curent CPLIATPL b) Current FRTO Gh Current COP RTR ) Current Class 1 medical ) Instrument rating on Multi Engine f) 25 hrs Multi Engine (minimum. ‘Tors on Alteraft) Phase |- Ground Classes Ground Training as per approved Endorsement Syllabus followed by TRTO Examinations Phase ll Simulator Trai After successful completion of Phase, candidates are then taken up fer A320 Type Rating Simulator training (FBS/FFS sessions and skill Phase lil (Final) - Aircraft Training (Subject to Terms & Conditions) After successful completion of Phase-Il Training, Candidates are imparted Familiarization Training on Aircraft before forwarding the documents ta DGCA for obtaining A320 Type Rating approval. Troining will be completed after grantof A320Type Rating. However, the Trainee will have to undergo Supernumerary flying. Supervised Line flying experience, relevant Routes /release checks: other Company requirements in whichever Airline he/she is ‘employed subsequently, ‘ACertificateinthisregard along with endorsement in log book will be made on completion of his / her AS20Type Rating 2. Recurrent Training (IR/LR Training /Check) forPIC/Co-Pilots ‘on A320 Simulator Etigibitity ‘Technical 1) CurrentClass.1 Medical 2) Licences /RatingCurrent +3) Current Refresher (Technical / Performance) Training Syllabus and Duration IRALR Training, (Including LOFT} - 02:00 HRS IR/LRCheck = 02:00 HRS 3. Upgradation Training of Pilots 3.1, Command Training -A320 Family Type Rating Aircraft. Eligibility Requirements Technical 3) Current ATPL, b) Current FRTO ©} Current OP ATR dd) Current Class | medical ¢) Instrument rating on Multi Engine f) 1500 Hrs of flying experience a5 P2 Flying Experience As per the stipulation of OGCA should have satisfactorily completed as a co-pilot on A320 aircraft notless than 1500 Hrs (one thousand five hundred hours) of flight time of which not less than one hundred fifty hours flight time shall be in the precedingtwelve months, Simulators Flying beyond four walls Penning Splits ‘A320 PIC Simulator Training (FFS)— Seven (07) training sessions followed by SkiliTests (Command Check # Circuit & Landings / Low Vis. Ops Trg, as Suoted in Ops Circular No.04 of 2007 /CAAOBID}/CAAOIN) Checks. However, after completion of the above Trainee will have to undergo. necessary Supervised Line Flying and Route Checks and other Company requirements in Whichever Airline he/she is employed / likely to be employed subsequently for obtaining his / herA320 PIC Type Rating. A Certificate in this regard along with endorsement in lag book will be made on completion of his / her A320 PIC Simulator Training / Checks 3.2 Training Captainson A320 Family Aitcraft Minimum Requirements for undergoing training as Check / Instructors / Examiners /Pilots on A320 typeofaircraft DGCA CAR Section 7-Flight Crew Standards , Training & Licencing Serles't; PART |= Dt.27" May, 1998 (Rev4 dt..12” March,2008) (@ Should have been regularly flying the A320 aircraft type. They should have consistently shown satisfactory proficiency. ()Shouldhave obtained pilet-in- command rating on the type in the firstattempt. {ii Should not have failed inany of the proficiency checks on simulatorfaircraft. during the preceding twoyears (iv) Should have a record completely free of any notifiable accident attributable to pilot's proficiency In handling the A320 aircraft. Further, he/she should have accident-free record during ‘the preceding ten years on A320 type of aircraft in airline operations attributable topilot’sproficiency.
