EMPATHIC LISTENING MAKE A DIFFERENCE.


Through empathic listening training, you can learn how to help others discover the power to resolve their own inner conflicts and to facilitate the healing processes.

Unfortunately, in our fast-paced world, we are losing personal connections with one another. Often we are concentrating on a goal or getting through a specific medical procedure and not living or listening in the present moment. In some respects, we have lost the ability to listen and this negatively affects almost every aspect of medical carefrom our relationship with the patient to our relationships with our co-workers.

Research is confirming that when people feel listened to, accepted, and understood, healing happens.

What does it mean to listen empathically?


Empathic listening requires retraining our ways of thinking, listening and reacting. It challenges us to listen without an agenda, without judgment, and without a ready answer. Empathic listening communicates a caring presence.
