This year Rocco, Ellen & the Hydrangea Herald all celebrated landmarks . What better way to celebrate but to picture people who have known us the longest. Noelle our beloved dog passed away on January 20, 2011 after a short canine malady. She will be fondly remembered by family & friends for her perky puppy personality. The reports that she had Ellen wrapped around her paw are totally unfounded.

Noelle arrived at Hydrangea Hill on Christmas morning 1998 a gift from Ellens sister Diane. Over the years, the Princess of Poughkeepsie was lost by our friends the Christies, attended a Bark Mitzvah and became a regular visitor to Lutheran Senior Care Residence.

2010 Milestones & Millstones


Milestone:Ellen cochaired the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Walk & joined an Investment Club
Milestone: The girls are more than happy to join us on family vacations. (We went west to Tahoe & California.) Milestone: Julianne has a new job with great benets & exible working environment at Distilled doing SEO. Millstone: What in Gods name is SEO? (It is Search Engine Optimization Google it) Milestone: Recently, Ellen let Rocco drive her BMW & he found a parking space right next to the identical car. Millstone: He mistakenly put his house keys in the other cars console, never to be seen again.

Millstone: She hasnt a Millstone: As long as we clue to investing so she will pay & agree to stop at IN-NOUT Burger. t right in.

Poster Boy
After a 2 year hiatus, John Heavey is making a come back in the Hydrangea Herald as the Stainos Thanksgiving Poster Boy. This past summer he worked in the Adam Sandler film, Donnys Boy. John is an extra playing a preppy boy at a party. I think he was type cast.

Well, not exactly in a theater but on the street in Times Square for World Read Aloud Day in March.

Rocco Stars on Broadway

Last year, Kathie Lee made an appearance in the Hydrangea Herald.
