Welcome to the 2011 school year! My name is Diana Zrate, I am so
excited to be teaching at El Salvadors International school (CCIS) this
school year! I have obtained a Bachelors degree in Special education from
Nevada State College and a Masters degree in the field of Autism received at
the University of Las Vegas. I am fluent in English as well as Spanish. I have
previously worked as a nurse assistant in various Rehabs and care centers in
the United States. My hobbies are reading novels and jogging. My
background in the medical field and special education has made me
understand that each child is unique and needs special attention.
I feel I am well trained and am going to do an outstanding job with
this years fifth grade class. This year we are going to be a team and I will
be the coach. Our goal is to fulfill all International standards for fifth grade
and successfully prepare students to be competitive in their future education
endeavors anywhere in the world. One of our first projects is to create a
class flag which we will have in the classroom all year!
As I mentioned I will be teaching 5th grade this year in room 123. I
have many wonderful plans for this school year with some of them being a
field trip to the San Andrs pyramids, and the National Theatre. Curriculum
