316 million EURO (VAT exclusive) 5 years (2011-2015)

Islaz HPP is a development, which has a complex role, as it provides both power generation and a series of other utilizations such as: * Energy: regulation services within SEN, insuring energy consumption in idle times, in correlation with Cernavoda NPP running; * Irrigations, protection against floods, upgrading roadways. By completing Islaz HPP the junction with the Danube is made, providing the pumping from the Danube to the upstream, the power plant having the same type of hydro-aggregates reversible bulb as the 5 hydropower plants on Ipotesti-Izbiceni Stretch currently under refurbishment have. INVESTMENT CURRENT STATUS: The technical design is being updated. The urban planning PATZ-IJ is being apparaised by the local and central administration bodies. FINANCING SOURCES: The investment objective, which reaches an amount of 316 mil. euro, is proposed to be financed from: - bank loans 253 mil. euro - SC Hidroelectrica SAs own funds 63 mil. euro.
