learning. Learners have an easy access to online information and they can easily publish
material on the net. The teachers’ and learners’ communication is no longer the same.
Teachers have to adapt their communication style to that which is technology friendly.
The curricular have to be adapted and teachers are now having different expectations of
their students. The easy access to publication of content on the internet also alleviates the
stereotypes of teaching and learning. The learners are able to create Weblogs, wikis,
digital photos and digital videos. The fundamentalists fear that the standardization of tests
scores and government’s accountability is prejudiced. The Read/ Write Web’s
constructionist, collaborative pedagogy’s seen as putting pressure on the learner to keep
apace of their counterparts across the world.
