Active MQ

Pre Installion Requirements

Hardware:
- 33 MB of free disk space for the ActiveMQ 4.x binary distribution
- 18 MB of free disk space for the ActiveMQ 4.x source or developer,s distributions.
Operating System:
- Windows: Windows XP SP2, Windows 2000.
- Unix: Ubuntu Linux, Powerdog Linux,MacOS,AIX,HP-UX,Solarlist,or any Unix
platform supports java.
Environment:
- Java Developer kit (JDK) 1.4.x or greater
- เซตค่า JAVA_HOME environtmet ไปที่ ไดเรคทอรี่ของ jdk
eg. เซต path ไปที่ C:\Program Files\Java\Jdk1.5.0_05

Starting ActiveMQ
1.เปลี่ยน directory ไปที่ path ที่ได้ลง activemq ไว้ ex. Cd [activemq_install_dir]
2.ไปที่ directory : \bin แล้วพิมพ์ activemq
- การรันพร้อมกับ Config Broker (default จะอยู่ที่ ../conf/activemq.xml)
AMQ 4.x
Eg. Activemq xbean:myConfig.xml
AMQ 3.x
Eg. Activemq myConfig.xml
3. หากว่า ActiveMQ สามารถรันได้อย่างไม่มีปัญหา จะปรากฏข้อมูล

การ Install ActiveMQ เป็นเซอวิซ ของ Windows
- ไปที่ [ActiveMQ_Install_dir]
- ไปตามไดเรคทอรี่ bin\win32
- พิมพ์ InstallService.bat
 - ActiveMQ จะถูกรันเป็นเซอวิซของวินโดวโดยอัตโนมัติทุกครั้งที่ สตาร์ทเครื่อง

Monitoring ActiveMQ
การตรวจการทำางานของ ActiveMQ
1. การ mornitoring โดยใช้ JMX Console
- ไปที่ <JAVA_HOME>/bin/jconsole.exe
- ภายในช่อง Remote Process
- กรอก <hostname>:<port> เพื่อ remote ดูสถานะของเครื่องที่รัน ActiveMQ ไว้
(ปกติจะเซตไว้ที่ port 1099)
- eg. Localhost:1099 หรือ 115.30.34.2:1099
- หรือ เลือก จาก local Process ที่รนั อยู่ได้
