Sameer Siruguri is a product design and marketing expert, with experience in building products and partnerships in Internet search

and advertising, social media, and enterprise content management at large and small companies in Silicon Valley. Most recently, he was Senior Product Manager for the OpenSocial-based social applications platform at hi5 Networks, Inc., a top 5 social networking company. Before that, he worked in product management and client services with the internal technology platform group at Yahoo!, at Kosmix, a vertical web search company, and Stratify, an electronic legal case management services firm. Sameer holds an MS (Computer Science) from Rice University, and a Bachelor's in Technology (Computer Science and Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay). Sameer is passionate about finding ways to leverage technology and digital media in the service of social causes. He has mentored nonprofit organizations in their online outreach, data management and website development strategies, where he has provided his expertise in assessing the benefits of, and structuring implementation plans for, various content management and online technology solutions, like, for example, Salesforce, Drupal, Google Site Search and Constant Contact. He lives in San Francisco, is a published playwright and actor, and enjoys investigating the aesthetic and intellectual forces that underlie such diverse human endeavors as information technology, literature and good wine.
