respectful obedient and responsible

There are three principles that are important to learn. Jesus wants you to be respectful to others, be obedient to your parents as they are to the Lord, and be responsible by doing what you know you should do.

RESPECTFUL is treating others the way you want to be treated and making them feel special.
If you really fulll the royal law according to the Scripture, You shall love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well. James 2:8

How can I be respectful?

...By speaking gently to others. Yelling at people can cause sad feelings and make them cry.

...By never hitting or kicking. Being rough hurts our friends. Instead, use you words to explain how you feel.

...By sharing toys. When you share your toys and things, friends will want to share with you.

OBEDIENT is following the rules and directions of daddy and mommy.

Do you know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? Romans 6:16

How can I be obedient?

...By responding the rst time right away. When mommy says, Lets brush your teeth, go to the bathroom immediately.

...By doing something you dont want to. If daddy says, Please color with crayons, not markers. Instead of whining, just say: OK daddy!

RESPONSIBLE is being in charge of your actions, choices, and certain duties.

For each will have to bear his own load. Galatians 6:5

How can I be responsible?

...By picking up your toys.

...By receiving no with grace. Saying OK when daddy, mommy, or a friend says no is better than whining, screaming, or crying.

...By calmly asking for help. If you need something to drink, gently ask, Can you please get me some water?

When you are RESPECTFUL, the orange sticker can be moved up one O space. When you are OBEDIENT, the yellow sticker can be moved up one O space. When you are RESPONSIBLE, the red sticker can be moved up one O space. When a sticker reaches a star you will get a reward for your good character!
