Introduction
For train detection and signaling purposes continuous welded track must be divided into sections. Insulated bonded rail joints are the solution to accommodate electrically separated track circuits. The rail is cut into two sections, than separated by a high strength and wear resistant insulating end post and structurally bonded again with an insulated rail joint system.
