September 8, 2011, Kancheepuram: Sri Sankara Arts & Science College, affiliated to University of Madras, Enathur, Kancheepuram conducts

various UG and PG courses, since 1991. In order to imbibe culture in youth, Onam was celebrated in Department of Management studies of Sri Sankara Arts & Science College. Athapookolam competition was held among the Management pursuing girls and Cricket match was held for boys. Mrs.Shantha, Vice Principal from SSKV Matriculation H S School was the chief guest and gave away gifts and sweets to the students and staff. Dr.S.Ramachandran, Director, Management studies said, "We inculcate our rich and prestigious culture along with Management concepts in our MBA course pursuing students. Hence, we celebrate these festivals among the students. Girls attain focus and concentration in their work by practising such events. In order to maintain good health and spirit among the MBA boys, we regularly conduct Cricket and sports events in our campus. We give equal weightage to extra curricular activities and knowledge to our students".
