Austin Lefkowicz Creswells project is to create a better and fuller understanding of what place really is and how it can

actually mean something. Creswell even states that place is a word that seems to speak for itself and it is a word wrapped in common sense. He uses examples to distinguish between space and place, and how the place has more meaning to a person than space. Space can be any plain, boring room or field, but place is what a person makes that empty/boring room or field. He also discusses how experiences help make a space a place because experiences sometimes alone define the place in which a person experienced something fantastic. His quote Place is everywhere just shows that even though to one person something may just be an empty space, to another person it could be a meaningful place of memory. It all depends on the perspective of those in the space/place.
