1. Introduction
First I would like to say thank you for the author of this script… Kloon, although the original
source was adapted from a script called RapidKill by Checkmate. Kloon has done a great job
adapting the script to suit every day users needs.

The script in basic allows your web server to transmit data on a full duplex connection
through other servers around the world. Functionality in the latest version of Rapidleech
offers many different file sharing sites, listed below:

- RapidShare.de
- RapidShare.com
- Uploading.com
- FileFactory.com
- FileVenue.com
- MegaUpload.com
- Megarotic.com
- MyTempDir.com
- Getfile.biz
- Webfile.ru

Other functions of Rapidleech include a file browser to explore and maintain the files you
have downloaded from the Internet, within this file browser you can perform various
functions such as renaming files, delete files, email files, split files and even upload files to
FTP.
Below you can see the file manager:

There is an also a settings sub menu which allows you perform various functions, such as
save the file (the file your downloading) to the server disk drive (web space), you can also
email the file via Rapidleech, use proxies to assist getting round the download limit and a
new function which allows you to insert a Rapidshare premium account into the script to
enable use of your premium account.

Below shows the setting sub menu:

3. Setting It Up!
Now comes the fun part… setting the script up! But first we must make sure a few checks
have been made:

- First of all make sure that your web server supports PHP by checking the hosting
specifications and then you need to check whether PHP Safe Mode is enabled or
disabled, to do this download this zip archive http://petman.freehostia.com/php.zip Then
upload the contents to your web host, then run the file php.php and it will bring up
information regarding your php server status, telling you whether php safe mode is
enabled or disabled. IF php safe mode is enabled don’t even bother to use this script on
the host, as it will NOT work, if it is disabled you should have no problem.

- Always remember with free hosts 95% of them have a file size restriction limit,
normally around 500kb, which is no where near good enough, if you are looking for a
cheap host, try ebay.

- PHP 4.01 + is required, although no mysql is needed to run the script =)

If you have all of the above and no problems are present it is now time to upload the files to
your web server, once uploaded run the directory where Rapidleech is present and it should
automatically load if not, try /dir/index.php

Now all is needed to do is find an applicable file link e.g. rapidshare, megaupload etc. Insert
the link and follow the on screen instructions, as shown below:

Step 1 – Inserting The Link!

Step 2 – Waiting For The Timer!

Step 3 – Inserting The Captcha Code!

Step 4 – Download The File!

Finished!

If you encounter any errors please refer to above, if the error(s) still persist change
your host or contact myself at the Rapidleech forums (shadowcastpm).

5. FAQ
Below I have compiled a list of common questions that occur in the forums, please READ
this section before spamming the forums with help requests…

- Q: Error while connecting through Port 80

- A: This is due the host, they have enabled php safe mode! Either request the host
disables php safe mode or change hosts.

- Q: Error Getting Image Verification Data

- A: This is due to the fact that you have downloaded an old version of the script, please
download the current version at:
http://www.rapidleech.com/index.php?s=b3233e01ce7596370b58a7c585c17c81&showto
pic=762

- Q: Rapidleech halts when a certain amount of data is transmitted (downloaded) e.g. 50mb.
- A: This is due to the host placing a file size limit on the hosting, it is recommended you
change host if this occurs.

6. Disclaimer
I would like to say thank you to Kloon for making this script what it is today and everyone
who has contributed to it. Hope you enjoy and understand the guide properly =)
