It denotes a group or collection of similar
individuals considered as one complete
whole.
Example : Army, Class, Jury, School,

It Denotes Matter or substance of which a
thing is made.
Example: wood, clay, rubber, iron, silver,

A sentence is a group of words arranged
in a manner which makes complete
sense. Words are divided into different
kinds or classes called Parts of speech
according to their use or to the work they
do in a sentence. A noun is one of these
parts.
After understanding Nouns a person will
be able to make and understand
sentences.
A phrase is a group of words with a single
sense.
A phrase that conveys the sense of a
noun is a noun phrase. e.g.

A Noun Phrase may be very long or very
short. e.g.
A book is a store house of Knowledge
