    The History

    Yismichu was started in November 2009 by Yeshiva University students who wanted to make a difference in the Jewish world. The dream was to visit communities throughout the country, spending Shabbat and inspiring Jews. Since its inception, Yismichu has done just that, reaching thousands of Jews in 18 communities in less than five months. The initiative has recruited over 120 men and women dedicated to inspiring the future of Am Yisrael, and while the numbers are impressive, Yismichu continues to grow at a rapid rate.

    The same six students (men and women) will come to YIWH 4 times this year well equipped with words of Torah, shiurim, as well as all sorts of exciting programs for the teens and children. You might remember that a groupf of Yismichu students came once and we had an amazingly successful teen oneg. We cant wait to begin this program after the chagim!
