Definition of Terms

1.) Reproductive Health Bill A bill aiming to guarantee universal access to methods and information on birth control and maternal care. 2.) Zygote The organism resulting from the cell formed from the union of an ovum and spermatozoon. 3.) Intrauterine device A contraceptive device fitted inside the uterus and physically preventing the implantation of fertilized ova. 4.) Hormonal Pills A contraceptive in the form of a pill containing estrogen and progestin to inhibit ovulation and so prevent conception. 5.) Condom A thin sheath or rubber worn by men during sexual intercourse to prevent conception or sexually transmitted disease.

Summary

1.) There have been several discussions and arguments whether the Reproductive Health Bill should be passed/ implemented or not. 2.) The Bill involves arguments whether it would be vital in avoiding disproportionate population, catering peoples needs, and as a weapon against poverty. 3.) The human being goes through many stages in his life span, from being a zygote to being a full-grown adult human. 4.) Human life begins at conception, when the sperms fertilize the ovum, which carry the elements from the parents. 5.) The Reproductive Health Bill ignores the biological facts of life, and applies use of any method to reduce the number of people. 6.) The aim of the Bill is to have fewer people in the community, eliminating poverty, regardless of how it would be done. 7.) Murder is a purposeful interruption of human life, which abortion and homicide fall as examples. 8.) Intrauterine device has been a primeval method by camel drivers who took long trips to prevent their camels from getting pregnant by intrauterine foreign body for the intrusion with their voyages. 9.) Hormonal pills or morning-after pills were given to women to stop conception. 10.) Condoms have become preferred by supporters, thinking that those

may prevent conception.
