e-grantz scheme In order to make timely disbursement of educational assistance by way of payment of fees, boarding charges to institutions and

lumpsum grant and monthly payments to students Government ordered that the process for the release of assistance to the educational institutions and the students be computerized and that the educational assistance be disbursed through commercial banks so that the students can obtain the assistance directly through their bank account using ATM facilities and the educational Institutions through their bank account. This is done through the e grantz project. One time procedure in the case of newly admitted students 1) The educational Institution (concerned Teaching Departments) shall issue bank application and scholarship application forms to the student at the time of admission itself. 2) The student shall fill in and submit the application within two days of issue of application forms which are received at the time of admission. Students should bring with the filled up application forms the following documents. Scheduled Caste Students 1) 2) 3) 4) Community Certificate issued by the Tahsildar. Income Certificate by the Village Officer. Attested true copies of the Qualifying Certificates. Application to open Bank Account and two passport size photos.

OEC Students 1) Community Certificate issued by the Village Officer. 2) Attested true copies of the Qualifying Certificate. 3) Application to open Bank Account and two passport size photos.

OBC Students

1) Community Certificate issued by the Village Officer. 2) Income Certificate issued by the Village Officer. 3) Attested true copies of the Qualifying Certificates. KPCR Students 1) Community Certificate issued by the Village Officer. 2) Income Certificate issued by the Village Officer. 3) Attested true copies of the Qualifying Certificates. SEBC/F.C (P.G./Professional Course) 1) 2) 3) 4) Community Certificate issued by the Village Officer Income Certificate issued by the Village Officer. e grantz package shall be having facility for On-line filing of applications and for checking status of filed applications and of disbursements. Students are encouraged to use the facility.
