A family of seven, Where it has always been my siblings and our mother, Before we knew it, it had become a family of eleven I am from, A household that is always having fun, No matter the time or day, Where we sing, dance, and laugh together, And where we come together to pray I am from, A family where failure is not an option, Where church and school come first, Where we know that faith and education are expected, Because in the end, it will be worth all of the work, All of us are talented in our own ways, Where would we be if we did not stumble or stray? I am from A woman who has the heart of gold, Who supports us pushes us to succeed, Who expects us to do as we are told, A woman whos love will never leave, Who knows that God is real, if you would only just believe I am from A family who believes I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
