USBjtag NT SB6120 Tutorial

First thing we want to do is get all the hardware sorted out. We're assuming that you know how to use the USBJTAG software but if not we will walk you through it in this tutorial. Make sure when attaching hardware there is no power to any of your devices.

After opening your device you want to search for the SPI Flash Chip. We are focusing on the SB6120 but on other devices the pinout could be different. Line up the clip to the chip and make sure the connection is rm. When done, prepare the cable from your kit and your USBJTAG - ensure your material is lined up correctly. Pin 1 on the ribbon cable is color coded in red.

Make sure all connections are proper and proceed with plugging in the modems power. Wait 10 seconds then take the next step. Being impatient, not waiting for the 10 secs could prevent detection of the ash.
