MEMORANDUM
To: Re: All Academic and Research Staff Ad hominem promotions 2011

All permanently appointed academic and research staff, who comply with the relevant Senex approved appointment and promotion criteria, are invited to apply for ad hominem promotion.

You are requested to submit your application for ad hominem promotion to the Human Resources Advisor at your college no later than 31 August 2011.

Applications for ad hominem promotions will thereafter be dealt with through the normal process of short-listing, selection, reporting and submission to the Management Committee, Senex and the HR Committee of Council (where applicable).

Applications must be done in accordance with current application procedures of the University as administered by the Human Resources Department. An application form can be downloaded from the Unisa website. A completed application form needs to be submitted together with a detailed Curriculum Vitae specifying research achievements, publications and recent qualifications obtained. Shortlisting and interviews will be done no later 31 October 2011 to ensure that recommendations for promotions reach Management by 1 November 2011 for approval.
