What a priv- Alege to be infused at the start of each day with fresh hope, joy, faith and strength! What an experience to enter the presence chanber of the great King - to bow before Him in adoration, worship and praise! It is here that we find @ continual renewal (Isaiah 40.31). ‘Tne transformation of ordinary folk, like ourselves, into Ghristlikeness is the great marvel and mystery of the Spirit's power (2 Cor 3.18). Someone has said, "You can always tell whether a person is being faithful in their prayer life - the evidence is in ‘their face! A joyful Christian is a poverful Christian! "The joy of the Lord is their strength" (Nehemiah 8.10). George Maller, a man mighty in faith and prayer wrote, "It has pleased the Lord to teach me 2 truth, the benefit of waich I have not lost for nore than 14 years. If we would live e triumphant life, we should never allow ourselves to get "stale", seg, or become hundrun in our experience. Why should we? We are linked with the Living God, Jesus is alive! The Spirit of God ie vital! Hie Salvation is a thrill, exciting! God wants us to live in His fulness ~ to be vibrantly’ alive! Poul exhorted Timothy - "I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the Gift of God". Two wonderful words - "Remember" and "Stir Up". Remember God's goodness to us - and stir up every faculty! Thank Hin! Love Him! Praise Hin! Adore Hin! Worship Hin! 1 Thess 5.16 ‘THis MORNING wancH. Jesus said, "WATCH AND PRAY".(Matt 26.41). It is God's purpose that His people should be in comminication with Hineelf via the "prayer channel". He is anxious that this channel be kept open effectively and continually. He requires AVERY Christian to be a prayer channel. Are you? He wants us also to "WATCH". What are we to watch for? Many things, but there 1s one particularly important event that we should ail be looking and waiting for - His Second Coming! Watch ye therefore, for ye know not when the Master of the House cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cock-crowing, or in the norning: lest coming suddenly He find you oleeping, And hat I say unto you I say unto all, WATCH" ( Mark 13.35-7) The signs everywhere point to His near return. Are you ready? Let this be our prayer thia week - "Search me, 0 God and know ny heart; try me and know my thoughts; ond see if there be any vicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting" (Pealm 159.25-24).
