COMPASS STABILIZATION North up or Course up; standard for the majority of gyro and serial compass inputs (1:1, 36:1, 90:1 and 180:1 require special compass option). TRUE MOTION Selectable on 0.5 to 48nm range scales inclusive. VIDEO MARKERS 20 adjustable video markers for highlighting points of interest in stabilized presentation modes. NAVIGATION INTERFACE Enables display of ships lat/long position, sensor in use and waypoint information. RADAR MAPS Selection of operator compiled maps stored on memory cards or internal non-volatile memory (on Basic Models). WIDE OPERATIONAL RANGE 0.125nm to 96nm. OFF-CENTERING Up to two thirds of radius on all range scales except 96nm. TRAILS Off, short, long, hidden, permanent or reset selectable in both true and relative motion modes. True trails are available in the relative motion mode. VARIABLE RANGE MARKERS (VRM) Two provided variable from 0.01nm to 96nm displayed on screen. Accuracy better than 1% of range scale in use of 25m, whichever is greater. One VRM may be off-centered. ELECTRONIC BEARING MARKERS (EBL) Two provided, variable in 0.1 increments, accuracy 1. One EBL may be off-centered. INDEX LINES Fully adjustable in range and bearing. Four available. DAY/NIGHT PRESENTATION MODES Four selectable general brightness levels and color combinations. Displayed information independently variable. Settings storable in non-volatile memory. ELECTRONIC CURSOR Readout in range/bearing lat/long or both. BEARING SCALE Electronically generated; 1, 5 and 10 marks labeled every 10 from 0-360. SECTOR BLANKING For special applications radar transmission can be inhibited in two sectors indicated on the display. (Total blanking up to 340). AUTO TUNING (AFC) Fully automatic with manual backup. WATCH ALARM Time periods of 3, 6, 9 and 12 minutes can be selected. Includes remote alarm connection capability with optional interface kit. OWN SHIPS PROFILE Available on ranges up to 3nm, depending on vessel length. CONSTANT RADIUS TURN On screen planning and monitoring of constant radius turn. Available in all motion and stabilization modes. PARALLEL CURSOR Two types provided, full or half cursor available on all presentation and motion modes and range scales. POSITION MODE Navigation sensor input. GUARD LINES User defined lines which will cause an alarm to be raised if crossed by own ship. 20 lines available in stabilized presentation modes.

BridgeMaster E Approvals
The BridgeMaster E family of Radars meet the following International Specifications:
Environmental Requirements: Performance Requirements: High Speed Craft Requirements: ARPA Performance Requirements: ATA Performance Requirements: EPA Performance Requirements:
60945 3rd edition 60936-1 & IEC 936(1988) 60936-2 60872-1 & IEC 872(1987) 60872-2 60872-3
These specifications cover the following IMO resolutions: A477(XII), A422 (XI), MSC(64)67, A823(19) & A.820(19)
CE Marking
All components of systems are CE marked against the EMC requirements of IEC 60945, 3rd edition.
Wheel Marking
The wheelmark is now replacing the CE mark within the EU. All components of the systems will be Wheelmarked to show conformance to the above IEC Specifications.
