ƒ EMRI is a non‐profit organization based on the Public Private 
Partnership (PPP) model in Gujarat.
ƒ The service was initially available in parts of Gujarat through the 
toll free number 108. Since August end 400 ambulances are 
serving the whole state.

ƒ The pre hospitalization emergency care provided by EMRI is free 
and the patient is admitted to a hospital of his or her choice.
ƒ More than 400 hospitals in the state collaborating with EMRI to 
stabilize the patient brought in, free of charge.
