In my life, I have come and faced many changing process. It is change that built us to be who we are right now. Without change, we will never be developed. It is the human nature that drives us to change. There were some problems when we have to deal with change. Influencing people and make them realize of the urgency of the change is already a challenge for me. I realize that people tends to see something in the same way. That is why a lot of people are change resistance. After reading this chapter, I come to realize that these steps enable me to get the change done easier. The first step is about stakeholder brainstorming. In my life I identify it as vision establishing. We have to identify and understand the change that we are going to perform. By understanding the vision we can also identify the big picture of change, including the condition and the parties that are affected by the change. The second step of Grundys involves in assessing how much power and influence each group of stakeholder has. For me, this is the same with assessing our ability to complete the vision or change. A vision which extends beyond ones capability to accomplish it will be useless, and if it is too much it would become the greed. Therefore we should examine and know our capability, so the change can be realized in the future. The third one of Grundys involves in assessing stakeholders attitudes towards the proposed change. For me, this step involves in knowing and understanding others thought or feeling towards our change. By knowing them, I will be able to use the information as a feedback to improve myself and it can also help me to direct my purpose and vision of change more easily. Although these steps have to be done to make the change process easier, but I disagree that they have to be done in a sequence. I believe that there is no best order on doing these steps and I also think that these processes can be achieved in different manner.
