To ensure product safety from wood debris or broken plastic in the event of an accident.

Scope It covers area where products are exposed to maintenance, cleaning and preservation activities.

broom, mop, brush shall be documented and recorded when bringing into food processing or packing area for maintenance or cleaning purpose. Each wood item should be checked before bringing into processing area.

wreckage fallen into product, the production and packing line leader/ supervisor shall isolate the particular product from others. production/ Packing line leader/ supervisor shall report to Section Head.

5. If the wood debris is removable by using sieving/ proper manner,

then workers shall remove and clean the debris from product which will subsequently verified by QC. If possible, sorting/ discharge the portion of the contaminated product and check thoroughly the remains to ensure the product safety for used in further process step.

6. Otherwise, if the wood debris, plastic pieces too fine and cannot be removed from product, it should be segregated and put tag for identification where dispose later in proper manner through MPSP.

7. Incoming materials and equipment shall be inspected to ensure that they are free from wood debris, plastic pieces, rubber, metal and other foreign body.
