Determine of Traning Needs : Organizational, Operation, Personnel y Analyze employee s ability and motivation and compare to job requirements. y Compare employee s performance to job standards. y Identify areas of weakness of employee 2. Identification of Traning and Development Golas/Objectives y Regular Traning : familarization; recurring traning ; refresher course y Problem Solving : to reduce complaints; improve communication ; inter personal relation y Innovative : anticipating problems before they occur 3. Development of Standard for Traning and Development y For newly hired employees y For sub standard performance y For all employees y For permanent employees y For those consired for promotion y For exceptional employees only 4. Selection of Employees for Traning and /or Development y ( Based on Steps 1,2, and 3) 5. Selection of Traning and Developing Methods y On the job y Apprenticesip y Learner y Traning with in industry y Outside course 6. Conduct of Traning and Development Activities y Conference y Demonstration y Drill y Exhibits y Guided tours panel discussion 7. Evalution of Traning and Development Activities y What were achieve throught traning and /or development? y Is there any job behavior change due to traning and /or development? y Did the employee learn : approaches , priciples, strategies. Etc? y Did the trainee like the traning or development program? y Recording of reactions for possible use to correct defects and improve futher the traning and/or development program / procedure in use by an organization.
