Antes de utilizar este aparato por

primera vez, lea detenidamente este
manual de instrucciones y gurdelo para
posteriores consultas.
Antes de utilizar el aparato verificar
que la tensin de la red domstica
corresponda con la indicada en el
aparato.
La seguridad elctrica del aparato se
garantiza solamente en caso de que
est conectado a una instalacin de
tierra eficaz En caso de dudas dirjase a

Si se decide no utilizar ms el aparato,
corte el cable de alimentacin despus

En este momento comienza el ciclo de
tostado.
Cuando el ciclo de tostado finalice el pan
saldr automticamente y el tostador se
desconectar. Si quiere comenzar otro
nuevo ciclo de tostado, espere 1 o 2
minutos para usarlo de nuevo.
Si durante el ciclo de tostado, quiere
sacar el pan antes de finalizarlo, pulse el
botn de parada "stop" y el pan saldr
automticamente, desconectndose el
tostador.
Cuando finalice con la utilizacin del
tostador, desenchfelo y espere a que
se enfre antes de guardarlo.
Atencin: Si una rebanada de pan queda
atascada dentro del tostador, acte de la
siguiente manera:
Desenchufe el aparato y espere a que se
enfre.
Despus, saque el pan con cuidado
sin utilizar para ello objetos metlicos o
puntiagudos.
No intente retirar el pan con el tostador
en marcha.

3. CONSEJOS PARA LA UTILIZACION

Tipos de pan
El pan de molde es el ms apropiado para
este tostador. Si va a utilizar otro tipo de pan,
tenga en cuenta los siguientes consejos:
Corte las rebanadas de forma regular
y con espesor uniforme de 1cm
aproximadamente.
No tueste al mismo tiempo, distintas
clases de pan ni rebanadas de distintos
espesores.
No unte el pan con mantequilla ni aceite
o similares antes de tostar.
Seleccin del grado de tostado
El grado de tostado se puede fijar con
la ruleta de seleccin de tostado (3).
Cuanto mayor sea la cifra, mayor ser el
grado de tostado.
A la hora de seleccionar el grado de
tostado, debe tener en cuenta que el
pan seco y las rebanadas delgadas se
tuestan antes que el pan del da y que
las rebanadas de mayor espesor. Por
tanto la seleccin del grado de tostado
variar en funcin del tipo de pan, de
la calidad del pan y del espesor de las
rebanadas.
La seleccin del grado de tostado ha de
realizarse antes de poner el tostador en
funcionamiento.

Funcin de recalentamiento
La tostada se puede recalentar colocando la
tostada fra en la ranura para pan, bajando la
palanca y pulsando el botn recalentar. La luz
de recalentamiento se encender y la tostada
se recalentar durante un perodo de tiempo
corto y fijo.
Nota: Cuando utilice la funcin de
recalentamiento, vigile el pan para asegurarse
de que no se quema.

4. FUNCIONAMIENTO
Coloque el tostador sobre una superficie
uniforme y resistente al calor.
Antes de utilizarlo, asegrese de que no
haya ningn objeto en las ranuras.
La primera utilizacin hgala sin pan,
tal y como le indicamos a continuacin,
colocando el selector en la posicin
maxima, con el objeto de eliminar
los posibles aceites residuales de la
fabricacin.
Coloque las rebanadas de pan en las
ranuras.
Seleccione el grado de tostado.
Enchufe el tostador a la red.
Baje el mando de accionamiento hasta

Funcin de descongelado
La funcin de descongelado es til para
descongelar o tostar pan congelado todo en la
misma operacin.
Ajuste el control de tostado variable al
nivel de color deseado. Comience con una
configuracin media (3-4) y ajuste el control
de tostado variable a una configuracin ms
suave o ms oscura dependiendo de su
preferencia personal.

5. LIMPIEZA
Antes de proceder a la limpieza del
tostador, desenchufe el aparato y espere a
que se enfre.
Pase con un pao hmedo el exterior del
aparato. No lo sumerja en agua ni lo ponga
bajo el grifo.
No utilice disolventes ni productos
abrasivos para la limpieza del tostador.
Para quitar las migas, extraiga la
bandeja recogemigas. Evite el contacto
con las aristas de la parte metlica del
recogemigas. Una vez limpio, vulvalo a
colocar en su alojamiento.

6. INFORMACIN PARA LA
CORRECTA GESTIN DE LOS
RESIDUOS DE APARATOS
ELCTRICOS Y ELECTRNICOS
Al final de la vida til del
aparato, ste no debe
eliminarse mezclado con
los residuos domsticos
generales.
Puede entregarse, sin
coste alguno, en centros
especficos de recogida, diferenciados
por las administraciones locales, o
distribuidores que faciliten este servicio.
Eliminar por separado un residuo de
electrodomstico, significa evitar posibles
consecuencias negativas para el medio
ambiente y la salud, derivadas de una
eliminacin inadecuada, y permite un
tratamiento, y reciclado de los materiales
que lo componen, obteniendo ahorros
importantes de energa y recursos.
Para subrayar la obligacin de colaborar
con una recogida selectiva, en el producto
aparece el marcado que se muestra
como advertencia de la no utilizacin
de contenedores tradicionales para su
eliminacin. Para mas informacin, ponerse
en contacto con la autoridad local o con la
tienda donde adquiri el producto.

2. ADVERTNCIAS DE SEGURANA
Antes de utilizar este aparelho pela
primeira vez, leia atentamente este
manual de instrues e guarde-o para
futuras consultas.
Antes de utilizar o aparelho verifique
se a tenso da rede domstica
corresponde indicada no aparelho.
A segurana elctrica do aparelho
garante-se unicamente no caso de estar
ligado a uma ligao terra eficaz. Em
caso de dvida dirija-se a um pessoal
profissionalmente qualificado.
Este aparelho s deve ser utilizado para
uso domstico. No utilizar ao ar livre.
Em caso de avaria e/ou mau
funcionamento do aparelho, apague-o
e no tente arranj-lo. Se precisar de
reparao, dirija-se exclusivamente
a um Servio de Assistncia Tcnica
autorizado pelo fabricante.
O utilizador no deve substituir o cabo.
Se estiver avariado ou for preciso
substitui-lo, dirija-se exclusivamente
a um Servio de Assistncia Tcnica
autorizado pelo fabricante.
No toque o aparelho com as mos
ou os ps molhados ou hmidos. No
coloque o aparelho em gua.
No puxe o cabo ao retirar a ficha da
tomada.

 Ao chegar o ciclo ao fim, o po sai

automaticamente e a torradeira desligase. Se quiser comear outro ciclo de
torrar, espere 1 ou 2 minutos para voltar
a usar a torradeira.
Se durante o ciclo de torrar quiser retirar
o po antes de finalizar o ciclo, prima
o boto de paragem "stop" e o po
sai automaticamente, desligando-se a
torradeira.
Quando acabar de utilizar a torradeira,
retire a ficha da tomada e espere que
arrefea antes de a guardar.
Ateno: Se uma fatia de po ficar presa
dentro da torradeira, faa o seguinte:
Desligue o aparelho da tomada e deixe
arrefecer
Depois, retire o po com cuidado sem
utilizar para objectos metlicos ou
afiados.
No tente retirar o po com a torradeira
em funcionamento.

3. CONSELHOS PARA A UTILIZAO

Tipos de po
O po de forma o mais apropriado
para esta torradeira. Se utilizar outro tipo
de po, tenha em conta os seguintes
conselhos:
Corte as fatias de forma regular
e com espessura uniforme com
aproximadamente 1cm.
No deve torrar ao mesmo tempo
diferentes tipos de po nem fatias de
diferente espessura.
No unte o po com manteiga ou
alimentos semelhantes antes de torrar.
Seleco do grau de torrar
No O grau de torrar pode ser fixado
com o boto de seleco de torragem
(3). Quanto maior for o valor, maior ser
o grau de torrar.
No Ao seleccionar o grau de torrar,
deve ter em conta que o po seco e as
fatias finas torram-se antes que o po
fresco e que as fatias mais grossas. Por
isso, a seleco do grau de torrar variar
em funo do tipo de po, da qualidade
do po e da espessura das fatias.
No A seleco do grau de torrar tem
de ser feita antes de pr a torradeira a
trabalhar.

Funo de aquecimento
A torrada pode ser aquecida colocando a
torrada fria na ranhura para o po, descendo
a alavanca e pressionando o boto de
aquecimento. A luz de aquecimento acendese e a torrada aquecida durante um perodo
de tempo curto e fixo.
Nota: Quando usar a funo de aquecimento,
vigie o po para se certificar de que no fica
queimado.

4. FUNCIONAMENTO

Funo de descongelao
A funo de descongelao til para
descongelar ou tostar po congelado tudo na
mesma operao.
Ajuste o controlo de torragem varivel ao
nvel da cor desejada. Comee com uma
configurao mdia (3-4) e ajuste o controlo
de torragem varivel a uma configurao mais
clara ou mais escura, dependendo da sua
preferncia pessoal.

Coloque a torradeira sobre uma

superfcie uniforme e resistente ao calor
Antes de a utilizar, certifique-se de
que no existe nenhum objecto nas
ranhuras.
A primeira vez que utilizar a torradeira,
faa-o sem po, tal como se indica a
seguir, colocando o selector na posio
mxima com o objectivo de eliminar os
possveis resduos do fabrico.
Coloque as fatias de po nas ranhuras.
Seleccione o grau de torrar.
Ligue a torradeira rede.
Baixe o comando de accionamento
at prender na parte de baixo. Neste
momento comea o ciclo de torrar.

5. LIMPEZA
Antes de qualquer operao de limpeza da
torradeira, desligue o aparelho da tomada e
espere que arrefea.
Limpe o exterior do aparelho com um pano
hmido. No o coloque em gua nem o
ponha por baixo da gua da torneira.
No utilize dissolventes nem produtos
abrasivos para a limpeza da torradeira.
Para retirar as migalhas, retire a bandeja
recolhe-migalhas. Evite o contacto com
as arestas da parte metlica do recolhemigalhas. Uma vez limpo, volte a colocar
no seu alojamento.

6. INFORMAO PARA A GESTO

Unplug the appliance when it is not in
use and before carrying out any cleaning
or maintenance.

Do not insert metal objects such as
spoons or knives into the slots. Never
place any objects on top of the toaster.
Do not leave the toaster unattended
when it is switched on. It could be
dangerous.

unattended when functioning. The bread
could catch fire inside the toaster.
Ensure there are no flammable objects
on or near the toaster, e.g. curtains.
After using the appliance, allow it to cool
down before putting it away.

cut its cord after unplugging it from the

2. SAFETY WARNINGS
Before using the appliance for the
first time, read this instruction manual
carefully and keep it for later reference.
Before using the toaster, check the
mains voltage corresponds to that
indicated on the appliance.
The electrical safety of this appliance
is only guaranteed if it is connected to
an efficient earth installation. In case of
doubt, contact a qualified professional.
This appliance is for domestic use only.
Do not use it outdoors.
In case of breakdown or malfunctioning,
switch off the appliance. Do not try to
repair it. If it needs repairing, contact a
Technical Assistance Service authorised
by the manufacturer.
The cable must not be replaced by the
user. If it is damaged or needs replacing,
contact a Technical Assistance Service
authorised by the manufacturer.
Do not touch the appliance with wet or
damp feet or hands. Do not submerge
the toaster in water.
Never pull on the cord to remove the
plug.
Do not allow children to use this
appliance.
Prevent the cord from touching any parts
of the appliance that have become hot.

3. TIPS FOR USE

Types of bread
Sliced bread is the most suitable for use
in this toaster. If you wish to other types of
bread, bear the following in mind:
Cut the bread into regular-shaped slices
with an even thickness of around 1 cm.
Do not toast different types of bread
at the same time, or slices of different
thicknesses.
Do not spread butter, oil or similar on the
bread before toasting.

Selecting toast darkness

The toast browning can be set with the
browning control dial (3). The higher the
number, the darker the toast will be.
When choosing the toast darkness,
remember that dry bread and thin slices
toast quicker than fresh bread and
thicker slices. The browning selection
will therefore vary depending on the type
of bread, the quality of the bread and the
thickness of the slices.
The toast darkness must be selected
before switching on the toaster.

Reheat function
Toast can be reheated by placing the cold
slice of toast into the bread slot, lowering
the lever and pushing the reheat button.
The reheat light will come on and the toast
will be reheated for a short set time.
N.B.: When you are using the reheat
function, watch the bread to make sure that
it does not burn.
Defrost function
The defrost function is useful for defrosting
or toasting frozen bread all in the same
operation.
Adjust the browning control to the desired
browning level. Start with a medium setting
(3-4) and adjust the variable browning
control to a lighter or darker setting
according to your personal preference.

4. FUNCTIONING
Stand the toaster on an even, heatresistant surface.
Before using the toaster, check there are
no objects the slots.
Switch the toaster on for the first time
with no bread in the slots, as described
below, turning the browning dial to its
highest position, in order to eliminate
any residual manufacturing oil.
Place the slices of bread in the slots.
Select the toast darkness on the dial.
Plug the toaster in.
Press the toast lever down until it is
retained at the bottom of the toaster. The
toasting cycle will then begin.
When the toasting cycle ends, the bread
will pop up automatically and the toaster
will switch off. If you wish to toast more
bread, wait 1 or 2 minutes before using
the toaster again.
If you wish to remove the bread before
the toasting cycle finishes, press the
stop button. The bread will automatically
pop up and the toaster will switch off.
When you finish using the toaster,
unplug it and wait for it to cool down
before putting it away.
Important: If a slice of bread becomes
stuck in the toaster, proceed as follows:
Unplug the toaster and wait for it to cool
down.
Then carefully remove the bread. Do not
use metal or sharp objects.
Do not try to remove the bread while the
toaster is functioning.

5. CLEANING
Before cleaning the toaster, unplug it and
wait for it to cool down.
Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp
cloth. Do not submerge it in water or place
it under the tap.
Do not use solvents or abrasive products to
clean the toaster.
To remove crumbs, pull out the crumb
tray. Avoid touching the metal edges of the
crumb tray. Clean it and replace it in its
slot.

6. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT

constituent materials to be recovered to
obtain significant savings in energy and
resources.
To remind you that you must collaborate
with a selective collection scheme, the
symbol shown appears on the product
warning you not to dispose of it in
traditional refuse containers.

authority or the shop where you bought the
product.

Introduire les tartines dans la fente.
Slectionner le degr de brunissage.
Brancher le grille-pain au secteur.
Faire descendre jusquau fond le levier
de fonctionnement. Le cycle de grillage
commence.
Lorsque le cycle de grillage est achev,
le pain est ject automatiquement et
le grille-pain cesse de fonctionner. Pour
relancer un nouveau cycle de grillage,
attendre 1 ou 2 minutes.
Pendant le grillage, vous pouvez faire
remonter le levier de fonctionnement
pour voir le degr de brunissage, sans
interrompre le cycle.
Si, en cours de grillage, vous souhaitez
retirer le pain avant la fin du cycle,
appuyez sur la touche darrt "stop". Le
pain sera ject automatiquement et le
grille-pain cessera de fonctionner.
Aussitt aprs son utilisation, veillez
dbrancher le grille-pain. Laissezle refroidir compltement avant de le
ranger.
Attention: Pour retirer un toast coinc
lintrieur du grille-pain, procder comme
suit:
Dbrancher lappareil du secteur et le
laisser refroidir compltement.
Retirer ensuite le toast avec soin, sans
utiliser dobjets mtalliques ni pointus.
Ne jamais tenter de retirer le pain
lorsque lappareil est allum.

3. CONSEILS DUTILISATION
Types de pain
Les tartines sont les plus appropries pour
ce grille-pain. Si vous souhaitez utiliser un
autre type de pain, veillez respecter les
conseils suivants:
Coupez les tranches rgulirement et
avec une paisseur uniforme de 1cm
environ.
Ne pas faire griller la fois diffrents
types de pain ni des tranches aux
diffrentes paisseurs.
Ne pas introduire dans lappareil du pain
tartin au beurre, lhuile, etc.
Slection du degr de brunissage
Vous pouvez slectionner le degr
de brunissage laide de la roulette
de slection du niveau de brunissage
(3). Plus le chiffre est lev et plus le
brunissage sera prononc.
Pour slectionner le degr de
brunissage, veillez tenir compte du
fait que le pain sec et les tranches fines
brunissent avant que le pain frais et que
les tranches paisses. Par consquent,
la slection du degr de brunissage
devra tre adapte au type de pain, la
qualit de ce dernier et lpaisseur des
tranches.
Procder la slection du degr de
brunissage avant de mettre en marche le
grille-pain.

Fonction rchauffer
Pour rchauffer le toast, dposez le toast
froid dans la fente pain, faites descendre
le levier et frapper du bouton rchauffer. Le
tmoin lumineux sallumera et rchauffera
le toast durant une brve priode de temps
prdtermine.
Remarque: Durant lutilisation de la
fonction rchauffer , surveillez le pain,
afin de vous assurer quil ne brle pas.

4. FONCTIONNEMENT
Dposer le grille-pain sur une surface
uniforme et rsistante la chaleur.
Avant de mettre en marche le grille-pain,
vrifiez quil ny a aucun objet dans les
rainures.
Avant de lutiliser pour la premire fois,
faites fonctionner le grille-pain sans pain,
en position maximale, tel quindiqu
ci-aprs, afin dliminer tout reste dhuile

Fonction dconglation
La fonction dconglation permet
de dcongeler ou de faire griller du pain
surgel en une seule opration.
Situez la commande de brunissage sur
le niveau souhait. Commencez par une

configuration moyenne (3-4) et augmentez

ou diminuez le temps de brunissage, en
fonction de vos gots personnels.

5. ENTRETIEN
Avant de procder au nettoyage de
lappareil, le dbrancher et le laisser
refroidir.
Nettoyer lextrieur de lappareil laide
dun chiffon lgrement humide. Ne jamais
immerger lappareil dans leau ni le nettoyer
sous le robinet.
Ne pas utiliser de solvants ni de produits
abrasifs.
Pour vider les miettes, sortir le tiroir
ramasse-miettes. Une fois propre, remettre
le ramasse-miettes en place.
