Tumbling Acrobat Age 5-8

You will need

Tumbling Acrobat pdf Sticky tape

Coloured pencils or felt tips Colour or black and white printer A4 paper or card Two marbles What to do

1. Download Tumbling Acrobat pdf. 2. Print on to an A4 piece of card. If you are unable to print on to card, print on to an A4 piece of paper and stick Tumbling Acrobat on to card. 3. Place Tumbling Acrobat patterned side down on to a table top. Rub along the length of the card several times with the side of a pencil, until it curls. 4. Fold the flaps on the patterned side along the dotted line. the ends and tape them together. and tape the other flap closed. 5. Fold the card around, patterned side up, so that it makes a loop. Then overlap 6. Fold in one of the flaps and tape it to the loop. Then put two marbles inside 7. Your Tumbling Acrobat is now complete! Test him out on a sloping surface to see him flip. If he slides instead of tumbling, the surface you are using is felt or a towel. probably too smooth. You could try covering the surface with a fabric such as
