Lessons that build character and raise leaders Two life-changing programmes offered:
“Richness of Character through Poverty"
Mondays to Fridays: 9am – 12pm As students learn about the social issue of poverty that is prevalent in Asia and around the world, they learn to be thankful for what they have and how to be hardworking in all that they do. Students develop essential character traits and values such as Diligence, Thankfulness and Compassion through learning about children who live in poverty. Incorporating a variety of activities to engage students – from English reading comprehensions and experiential-learning activities to art projects and community fundraising efforts, this programme will be a fun and impactful time for students.
"Blindness Brings Gratitude to Light"
Mondays to Fridays: 2pm - 5pm Children often need personal experiences in order to understand a concept and the situations of other people. This programme brings to light lessons of Gratitude, Perseverance, Friendship and Compassion through an experiential journey of being blind. Students not only learn about the life of Helen Keller and her struggles, but they also step into the shoes of someone who is blind. Students soon realise that visually impaired children are also capable people through meeting and playing with them. Students leave the programme both educated and transformed!
Dates: Both programmes have three sessions to choose from
Session 1: July 18th - 29th Contact Session 2: August 1st - 12th Session 3: August 15th - 26th us to Cost: The cost covers all materials and outing expenses sign up! $4,800 per programme OR $8,800 both programmes
