    PERCEPTION OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ON DRUG ADDICTION IN

    HAGONOY DAVAO DEL SUR

    Statement of the Problem

    The primary concern of this study was to determine the perception on drug

    addiction among high school students in Hagonoy Davao del Sur. This study was

    conducted to answer the following question:

    1. What are the socio-demographic profiles of the respondents?

    2. What are the perceptions of the respondents toward drug addiction?

    3. Is there a significant difference in the perception on drug addiction among

    respondents from public and private high school?

    4. Is there a significant difference in the perception of male and female

    respondents on drug addiction?

    Conceptual Framework

    Figure 1 presents the variables of the study. The independent variables

    include the type of schools (public or private) and sex (male or female), which are

    posed to influenced the dependent variable on respondents drug addiction

    perception.
