Description /Focus Time Activity Give a 5 min warning before changing activities.
Arrival-8:15am Interest Centers Children arriving. Children exploring interest areas.
Limited Centers. Child directed. Outdoor play (Summercamp) 8:15-8:30am Transition Choose chores for the day, breakfast helpers cleans table and set table for breakfast. Other children look at books quietly and take turns washing hands. 8:30-9:00 Breakfast/Clean-up Enjoy meal, children talking with teacher(s) and classmates. After breakfast children set-up circle time mats and prepare for circle time. 9:00-9:15am Circle Time Prayer, Bible Verse, Weather, Discussion, etc
9:15am-10:15am Learning Art, blocks, cooking, writing, reading, science, math
Centers/C and/or Dramatic play Activities. hoice Time 10:15-10:30 Transition Clean-up/Cots
Etc 11:45-2:30pm Quiet Time Rest on cots or look at books quietly
2:00-2:30 Literacy Time Write in Journals (writing letters and words)
2:45-3:00 Snack Time Enjoy mealtime, teacher encourages conversations 3:00-3:15 Recall/Wrap-up day Recall/discuss activities, story, etc. 3:15-3:45 Learning Centers Art, blocks, reading, science, math and/or Dramatic play centers. 3:45-4:15 Outdoors/Games Outdoors for at least 1-hour and/or Indoor Games Ages 2-5yrs combined. 4:15-Departure Free Choice Art, blocks, reading, science, math and/or Dramatic Activities play centers .
