State the primary reasons for the organization’s existence from an analysis

of the mission, vision, values, and goals. (Debbie)

Baderman Island is a luxurious all-inclusive resort that offers remarkable amenities to

guests or visitors. The hotel offers spa, recreation centers, botanical garden, shopping stores, and

amazing restaurants. The resort’s mission is to provide excellent service to its customers,

members, and guests by offering them the best in terms of operation, lodging, facilities, and

dining. Another mission is to motivate their employees to persevere and give the best service

they can to the customers and to the company; which may be done by offering the employees

high compensations, secure job, performance recognition, and great benefits. The resort’s

mission to the shareholders and investors of the company is to increase the growth and

development of Baderman Island, especially in terms of earning more profit, to satisfy the

shareholders (Apollo Group).

The resort has developed 750 acres and still has 800 acres of wilderness available on the

island. Baderman Island’s vision is to become one of the leading destination resorts and to

expand the resort to 1,600 acres (Apollo Group, 2005). Its goal is to develop and improve the

resort by enhancing the areas that can be used for more facilities. The vacant 800 acres left will

be used to add more amenities on the island. The company’s goal is to amplify the vacant land to

expand their service to the customers. The management is planning on maximizing the 75 open

acres near the existing golf course by increasing the number of golf holes (additional of 18 holes)

to improve the entire golf course. The management also wants to enlarge the Baderman Island

Oasis Spa by adding 25 additional acres to the 50 acres. The additional 25 acres will provide

more private rooms, bigger rooms for massage, and more services to the customers. The

available acres will be used to expand the hotels and convention center to accommodate more

visitors and guests (Apollo Group, 2005).

Identify the key stakeholders and their roles needed to achieve the

organizational goals, and recommend the collaborative interactions

among the key stakeholders to facilitate the organization’s success

(Debbie)

In order to facilitate the success of Baderman Island Resort, the stakeholders must

participate to achieve the goals and objectives of the company. First are the shareholders of the

company. In order to expand the growth and development of the company, it is important that

shareholders or investors provide money to buy additional resources like construction materials

that needs to be used for the expansion of amenities, to pay the employees who will participate in

the expansion of the resort, and other materials that the management would need to formulate

and implement the strategic plan. The second stakeholders are the employees. It is important that

employees and managers must participate in the execution of the plan. In order to give the

customers the best quality of service, the staff must provide the customers with their needs and

wants in terms of offering them good clothing, clean and luxurious hotel rooms, restaurants and

spas, superb housekeeping, and other great services that vacation resorts offer. The third

stakeholders are the customers. In order increase the company’s profit and make the shareholders

happy and satisfied with their ownership of the resort, the customers should also be satisfied and

pay their bills on time. Giving more tips to the employees motivate the employees to work harder

and improve their performance level. By giving feedbacks and suggestions to the resort allow the

resort to find out about the changes that can be made to improve the quality of service and

enhance the facilities. In addition, it also allows for more growth and opportunities for Baderman

Island.
