Rally for Solidarity

Are you worried about pay cuts &

Local Dissolutions?
Join us to send a message to the International that we want our union back!

When: April 13, 2011 - Wednesday 3:30 pm

(To coincide with District Council Delegate Meeting)
Where: 395 Hudson Street, NYC
Who: All NYC District Carpenters that are sick and tired of business
as usual
Issues:

 Demand for Transparent and Timely information about current contract

negotiations, merging and dissolution of NYC locals, changes to Job
Referral (Full Mobility), and court developments with Judge Berman
 We oppose McCarron’s New Interior Systems Local 395
 Maintain “One man, One vote” Rank and File Vote for EST
 Current Delegates to the District Council, aka, “Rubber Stamp
Committee.” We need rank and file delegates representing the rank and
file membership . NO to District Council employees as delegates. THIS
IS A CONFLICT OF INTEREST.
 Our contract expires June 30, Rumors are spreading we are facing pay
cuts. We already gave back $2.13 on Jan 1, how much more can we
give? (we do not want to be sold out). Is the NYCDC Negotiation
Committee negotiating in good faith on our behalf?
 Membership to ratify all contracts.
 NO to the sell of 395 Hudson

We must stand together and let our voice be heard!

This rally will be the 1st of many more to come.
