This
course
will
trace
the
history
of
photography
from
its
inception
to
the
present.


Through
slide
presentations
and
class
discussions,
students
will
be
exposed
to
historical

and
contemporary
photographic
works.

Class
discussion
and
research
projects
will

challenge
students
to
consider
their
own
work
within
a
historical
context.

miss
more
than
3
classes,
your
final
grade
will
be
dropped
one
letter
grade.

If
you
miss
more
than
5
classes,
you
will
fail
this
class.

If
you
come
to
class
15
minutes
late,
you
will
be
counted
absent.

There
are
no
excused
absences.



Attendance
is
mandatory.

If

have
a
conflict
with
a
scheduled
quiz
or
due
date
it

your
responsibility
to
make
arrangements
with
me

turn
in
your
work
at
another

Assignments
must

turned

time.
