ABOUT THE PROJECT
The US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Office of the Regional Health
Administrator, Clinical Directors Network and the Academia de Directores Médicas de Puerto Rico
(Puerto Rican Academy of Medical Directors) are conducting this project to develop and implement
Healthcare Associated Infection (HAT) Prevention Trainings for Ambulatory Surgical Centers’ (ASCs)
Healtheare Workers in Puerto Rico, New York and New Jersey.

‘¢ Researching and Identifying resources on HAIs
‘Contacting and maintaining relationships with partner organizations in New York, New Jersey,
Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin islands
Developing HAI prevention training and evaluation tools
Planning training logisties
Collecting and analyzing data
Writing the quarterly and final project reports
Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
indergraduate, Graduate and Health Professions Students are encouraged to apply
MPH candidates/graduates are preferred.
Ability to handle a variety of tasks and work independently
Strong organizational, web searching, literature review, communication, PC, and writing
Data management, analysis and presentation
Experience working with ethnic and racial/minority communities
Bilingual English’ Spanish speaking and reading/ writing skills a plus
Must be able to work 2 -3 days per week —hours flexible
OFFICE HOURS
Monday — Friday, 9am-Spm
