VERY IMPORTANT RESIT POLICY FOR TRINITY SPAIN - GESE and ISE EXAMS in 2010-2011 Trinity, as a non-profit-making institution with the charitable aim of encouraging education, permits GESE and ISE candidates who are unsuccessful in their exam to EITHER a) appeal the result within 14 days of receiving the results, as under current procedures (cf the corresponding section of the exam syllabus). If the appeal is unsuccessful, candidates can also use option b) below oR b) request a resit and retake their GESE (at the same grade) / ISE* (at the same level) between October and December of the same year * In both cases, ISE candidates must retake the complete exam, including a new Portfolio, the corresponding Controlled Written and Interview. The CW must take place on the assigned date in October/November, and the Interview in November. ADMINISTRATIVE DETAILS 1, The only cost will be a 12€ administration fee per candidate, which is independent of the grade/level exam they present. The exams themselves are completely free. 2. The sessions are organised by the Area Consultant, and will be held at venues in provi capitals on dates to be arranged at Trinity's discretion. Unfortunately, we do NOT guarantee the exams being held in your centre: Trinity li the nearest possible provincial capital on a fixed date, and the exam timetable is at Tl sole discretior 3. The centre must inform Trinity in writing (letter, fax, email) of their candidates’ intentions to take advantage of the resit option on the day assigned, detailing the number of candidates at each grade. This information must be received by the Barcelona Office BEFORE 31 AUGUST for GESE resits 05 SEPTEMBER for ISE resits* Requests received after these dates CANNOT be accepted Centres should consult Trinity Online for the results if necessary. Resit Excel Entry Forms must be sent DIRECT to Central Admin in Barcelona, and payment of the fees must be made, BEFORE 30 SEPTEMBER. AFTER THIS DATE, ANY INCOMPLETE ENTRIES OR PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR EXAMINATION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. 7. If acentre has any OTHER candidates wishing to take advantage of the opportunity to sit a Trinity exam at one of these sessions, they can be registered at the same time, subject to paying the normal examination fee and using the standard Excel Entry Form.
