 Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be brought
back anytime this week.

 Spelling Words – Spelling words for unit 23 were sent home today.

 Tests – Tuesday – Spanish (Unit 9)

Friday – English (Unit 6)
Friday – CA History (Unit 2)

 Book Orders – Scholastic book and software order forms were sent home today. The
forms are due back this Friday, March 11th. A reminder that only checks will be
accepted and they must be made out to Scholatic Books.

 Field Trip – A field trip permission form was sent home today for our field trip to
“Forest Conservation Days” at Sanborn Park on Monday, March 28th. Please return
the form by this Friday, March 11th. We will be eating lunch that day at about 11:15,
so the students will not be able to take hot lunch that day.

 Singing in Church – Our next opportunity to praise God with our voices in church
will be this Sunday, March 13th at the 11:15 a.m. service. We will meet in the 5th
grade classroom at 11:00 to warm-up.

Please keep in mind that our singing in church policy states: “Students are required
to attend and participate in worship.” We encourage and expect that families will
remain for the entire worship service in which the students sing. Thank you for your
attention to this.

 Collaboration Day - Next Friday, March 18th, classes will dismiss at noon due to a
collaboration day for the teachers.
