Skills : 1.1.2 Listen to and group words according to the same middle sounds.
2.7.3 Talk about the events of the story.
3.2.2 Read and learn the meaning of key words for each topic taught.
4.3.2 Construct simple sentences and compound sentences based on words and
phrases given and on a
picture stimulus.
Objective (s) : Pupils should be able to:
1. acquire a wide range of vocabulary but stating aloud the words they learn.
2. read the sentences aloud with correct intonation and stress.
3. construct 3 simple sentences correctly or with less of grammar mistakes.
Activities : 1.Shared reading and content discussion.
2. Focus wordwork – Building up vocabulary.
3. Sentence construction using the new words given.

2.10.1 Repeat words that obtain the diphthong sounds.
3.2.2 Read and learn the meaning of key words for each topic taught.
4.3.2 Construct simple sentences and compound sentences based on words and
phrases given and on a
picture stimulus.
Objective (s) : Pupils should be able to:
1. acquire a wide range of vocabulary but stating aloud the words they learn.
2. read the sentences aloud with correct intonation and stress.
3. match correctly 3 out of 5 sentence halves to form meaningful sentences.
Activities : 1.Shared reading and content discussion.
2. Focus wordwork – Building up vocabulary.
3. Sentence construction by matching sentence halves.

The correct writing of a lesson plan should cover all the four main skills namely Listening,
Speaking, Reading, & Writing. Focussing on 1 or 2 main skills in a specific teaching &
leaning process doesn’t mean the four main skills shouldn’t be included in the lesson plan.
