I like verymuch to walk during rains. Today when I walk in the rain more than
30 to 40 friends ask me "why are you walk in the rain, is the driver is in lea
ve" and some even offer to give a lift to drop me in my house. Why people are
afraid to wet themselves by accepting the rain water as a healthy one I am alwa
ys having that doubt. But when people are having a trip to Courtallam they wi
ll always cry "charal" "charal" and try to wet them selves in rain water. But
you cannot say "thooral" here as it will give some bad meaning in Kerala, as Cou
rtallam is very near to Kerala. Whether it is thooral or charal it is only rai
n water and it is good for health when you walk during rains especially for diab
etic patients that we will have to remember.
