CAUTION: When refilling after draining coolant

open the “bleeder plug” to prevent air pockets.
Refer to Owner’s Manual for correct procedure.

Feed the cord over the dipstick tube Route cord through an opening in the
10 bracket, which is welded to the oil pan and 11 lower LH. or R.H. side of the bumper
secure with a tie-wrap. Plug the connector grille using the heater element plug-in
into the heater element. end.

Secure cord to the wire harness with two Re-install engine underguard in reverse
12 tie-wraps. NOTE: Ensure that the cord 13 order of removal.

WARNING
2 1 Before connecting heater to power source,
make certain element is immersed in cool-
ant. NEVER energize heater in air. If so
8 mm energized, element sheath could burst caus-
ing personal injury.
