Q) Are all recordings submitted to INDICORE released?

A) No. The recordings are reviewed and selected..

Q) How long does it take for review?

A) 2 to 4 weeks.

Q) By releasing my record via INDICORE, will I have to forgo all of my rights to my music?.
A) No. We only retain publishing rights. All other rights will remain with you.

Q) How will INDICORE ensure that my record meets the high standards of a professional
release?
A) All records are professionally mastered, presenting the identity of the record and the artist, in
its true colour.

Q) Do I have to pay for mastering my album which is put up for 'Free Download'?
A) No.

Q) Does INDICORE sell/distribute physical product (CDs/LPs/Cassettes)?

A) Not at this moment.

Q) Can I be an INDICORE artist, but not allow 'Free Download' of my record. Instead I want to
sell my album (CD/LP/Cassette/MP3) via my website/CDBaby/Amazon/ITunes, etc.
A) Yes, you can. In this case you need to apply for high quality masters (Wav 16bit 44.1 KHz
sound files). Nominal charges of mastering is applicable.
Q) At a later date can I change my mind and allow my record to be downloaded free at
INDICORE?
A) Yes

Q) Can I just get my album mastered and release it under other Indie label/distributor, and not get
listed on INDICORE at all?
A) Yes.

Q) Can I re-release all my old records via INDICORE?

A) Yes. As long as you hold all rights to your records.

Q) Does INDICORE release 'Singles'?

A) Yes. (On compilation albums)

Q) Am I bound by a contract to release a set number of records via INDICORE?

A) No. We sign artists by record. The artist is free to release his next record through any record
label he fancies.

Q) What genres of music does INDICORE release?

A) We are open to reviewing products from all genres.

Q) Do I have to submit my own cover design?

A) Yes.

Q) In what format will my album be downloadable from INDICORE?

A) 128Kbps MP3 stereo files, packed in a zip file, also containing your cover design - inlays (jpg),
Song list, Credit list, Contact info, Copyright information, etc.

Q) Will my fans be able to download my record at all times?

A) Yes. Our host guarantees 99.9% uptime.

Q) Will I know how many people downloaded my record?

A) Yes. We freely share download statistics of the record with the artist, confidentially.

Q) On my webpage/myspace page, am I allowed to publish a direct link to my 'album download

page' on INDICORE?
A) Yes.

Q) Am I allowed to stream my songs on myspace/soundclick ?

A) Yes. But you are requested not to allow download of individual songs. Instead, you should
point your fans to your album download page on INDICORE, so that they download your entire
record .
