Contest Rules

I hereby declare that

· I am a professional photographer,
· I am a professional photographer or a prospective professional photographer
(only for applicants of the Leica Oskar Barnack Newcomer Award),
· I am aged 25 years or under (only for applicants of Leica Oskar Barnack Newcomer Award),
· I myself took the photos I am entering for the competition,
· The photo series I am entering was completed in 2010,
· I am the sole owner of the copyright for these photos or have been authorized by the owner of the copyright,
· the photos I am entering are neither photomontage nor have been manipulated or digitally altered in its essence,
· no other party can enforce any right or raise any objections in connection with a publication,
· if the photos are being entered on behalf of a photographer, I have been authorized by the photographer to enter
the pictures in his name. I also declare that the photographer accepted the conditions,
· I give Leica Camera AG the right to publish my series of pictures entered into this competition online in the
online·gallery on the homepage of Leica Camera AG,

If I reach the final round of the 10 best entries, I give Leica Camera AG the right to

· use these photos in connection with the “Leica Oskar Barnack Award” competition for PR purposes,
· project my pictures at the award presentation in Arles and publish the projection on the internet
· exhibit my award·winning pictures free of charge with reference to the competition, e.g. in all Leica Galleries.
· publish with reference to the competition my award winning pictures, or others after mutual agreement between
myself and Leica Camera AG, in a Leica book.
