Add a new page to your lesson. New pages will be added to the left on the slide design panel. Every new page will
be added under the white slide on the left.

The folder icon is a shortcut to open up a file. The disk icon will allow you save your file without having to do file, save.
The clipboard is used to paste. If you have copied something from another location you can press the clipboard to paste
instead of selecting Edit, Paste.

The blue arrow curled to the left allows you to undo a mistake. The blue arrow curled to the right allows you to redo. The
read X allows you to delete something you do not want. However, you need to click the item you want deleted at which
time a blue dotted box will appear around the item you selected.

The projector screen icon is used to place a screen shade over your screen. Much like a piece of paper on an overhead
projector. You can then move it to show as little or as much as you would like. The blue computer looking screen puts you
into presentation mode. This allows you to display one slide at a time full screen. Much like PowerPoint. The white colored
computer screen is a transparent presentation. This means whatever is on your slide will be displayed on the desktop. The
last computer screen icon to the right in the circle is used to toggle between single page or dual page view. You can display
two pages at a time or a single page. When in presentation mode, this allows you to display two pages at once.
The camera and other icon are used for capturing items on your desktop or via a SMART document camera. We will talk
about these at a later date.

The icon on the left of this circle is to insert a table. Much like in word you can insert a table. Same idea. The middle and
right icon are used for the Assessment software that will be talked about later.

The arrow is the select tool. You will need to be on the arrow to move objects around as well as select them. The pen icon is
used to choose a pen and its color. The other pen next to the eraser icon is a creative pen. It allows you to draw/write with
a fun design. The eraser icon allows you to erase. By clicking on the icon you can choose from three different sizes.
The line tool in the left of the circle allows you to create lines, arrays, segments, arcs, etc. Click on it once to select the
desired type of line. The shape tool is next to the line tool. This allows you to make shapes. Click it once to choose the
desired shape. You can customize the shapes as well to make them different colors. The last two pen tools are a bit
different. The one with a square around it is the shape recognition tool. You can draw a shape and it will recognize it
making it nice and neat. The pen with purple stars around it is the magic pen. If you write words, numbers, etc, the ink is
invisible and disappears after a short while. Also, if you draw a circle it creates a highlight circle to focus on one spot on
your lesson. Lastly, if you draw a rectangle it creates a magnifying lens that allows you to magnify different elements on
your screen.

The paint bucket allows you to fill your shapes with different colors. The text icon (letter A) allows you to insert text. You
can also insert text by simply typing and it will automatically put it in your slide. The last icon is for properties. You can
customize colors, line styles, animations etc of your words, shapes in your lesson.
