EOP SPRING
TRANSITIONAL BRIDGE
General Studies 250: EOP Transitional
Bridge (2 units)
Mandatory course for all EOP students for Spring 2011.
If you do not participate, you will be removed from
the EOP program. Additional information will be made
available to you via email, EOP website http://eop.sdsu.
edu and on our facebook page EOP at SDSU.
First three sessions
January 11, 12 and 13, 2011
8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Room GMCS 333)
• Meet EOP staff and peer mentors
• Have sessions with your EOP counselor
• Participate in a variety of workshops
• Learn more about the EOP services and campus resources.
Weekly class sessions
January 19, 26, February 2, 9, 16, 23, and March 2 (Wed
from 12-1) (See course schedule for room numbers)
• In a cohort group of 10 students, you will have your own
peer mentor who will help you in your transition into
SDSU.
• You will have the opportunity for a variety of workshops,
events and activities that you can do with your cohort
students, your peer mentor, or on your own.
• Activities range from going to visit your professor during
office hours to attend a campus speaker or lecture.
• Workshops include workshops on study skills, time
management, financial literacy/budget planning, and social
justice.
• We will also have special EOP events for mentors and
protégés to hang out and have fun.
