! Mapping out a plan for community involvement:
• Locate people from helpful organizations
• Radio broadcast engineers
• Tinkerers

! Create a station structure
• board - long-term commitment, responsible for ultimate decisions about
the station, and for organizing the work that needs to get done
• steering committee - people who understand the station mission, who
can talk about it well, who represent the idea well to the community and
who want to work on it
• working committees (online organizing, production & distribution, media
relations, field building) - Committees meet on their own, usually at
someones house. At least one member of the steering committee is on
each working committee, and serves as the coordinator/facilitator for that
group.
