of versatile, high-tech spaces, each with the ability to house variety of genres including music, dance, speech, drama, multi-media
presentations, assemblies, meetings and private events. There is a 200 seat Auditorium for the presentation of classical music. Adjacent to
this is a 200 seat ‘Black Box’ drama theatre. The facilities are fitted with the latest performance lighting, sound, recording and AV
technology. Each facility has designated control rooms linked to a central editing suite, electronic music facility, rock & fine music rehearsal
spaces, wardrobe and set building facilities, complemented by substantial teaching and arts administration facilities

RTM International’s role to advise the College, working closely with the architect and acoustician, on the detail design, construction, fit-out
and operation for this educational facility. The brief covered the areas of venue design, staging, lighting, sound, audio/visual, seating,
cabling, area & room allocation and equipment specification. The facility began operation in March 2006.
