BOOK BITES

BOOK CLUB
South Rowan Regional Library
Tuesday January 25 at 6:30 pm
Join us for a discussion of The Zookeeper’s Wife, Diane Ackerman’s true story
of how zookeepers at the Warsaw Zoo saved hundreds of people from Nazi
hands during World War II. Thinking creatively, they smuggled them out in empty
cages and disguised them as guests in their home.

We’ll have a discussion of the book and refreshments.

Book Bites meets the last Tuesday of each month, with a new book each month
to read and discuss. New members are welcome, having read the book or not.

Upcoming books include:
February: Big Stone Gap by Adriana Trigiani
March: The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton
April: A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick
