Intriguingly Posh Wristwarmers – Liz Benson

I designed this pattern soon

after I started knitting and
didn’t really like knitting small
circumferences in the round.
It’s a simple pattern which
matches my Intriguingly Posh
Neckwarmer. Both patterns
can be made out of one 100g
skein of aran weight yarn.

Needle size: 4.5 mm

Yarn: Posh Yarn Sylvia Aran (164m/180 yards per 100g)

Yarn Alternative: Rowan Pure Wool Aran (169m/185 yards per 100g)

Amount: 1 skein

Gauge: 5.5 stitches per inch and 9 rows

Difficulty: Beginner

Stitches:

K = knit,

K2tog = knit two stitches together

Kfb = knit into front and back of stitch to make two stitches

Numbers in brackets at the end of each row indicate how many stitches you
should end up with in that row

Bind off loosely

The finished piece should measure 7 inches from top to bottom, 8 inches
across at the widest parts and 6 inches across at the narrowest part. Make two
of these and seam up using mattress stitch.
