Biography of Emmanuel Moses

Emmanuel Moses was born in Casablanca in 1959. He is the son of a French-

educated German Jew and a French Jew. His parents were a historian and a painter. He

spent his childhood living in Paris and Jerusalem from the ages of ten to eighteen. He

then return to Paris where he now resides. Moses is the author of eight collections of

poetry, ³He and I´ being one of them. Described as a polyglot, Moses gets his inspiration

from his travels and relationships.
